MRC Classical is the UK's smallest, independent classical record label. We are dedicated to making fine recordings of chamber and wind music and are privileged to work with some of the finest musicians in the world today.

First and foremost we are an artiste-led label: we support a network of professional musicians who, despite possessing well-established careers, are finding it increasingly difficult to get their work to disc.

Recording projects are nominated by the musicians themselves; the music you hear is music they wish to perform, under production conditions they wish to dictate.

Our modest catalogue currently features exquisite-sounding discs of works for wind and piano by Poulenc, Françaix, Roussel, d'Indy, Dring, Damase and Thuille, as well as beautiful arrangements of the songs of Schumann, Schubert and Brahms by legendary bassoonist Martin Gatt
